One of the UK’s newest and coolest festivals, Field Day, have announced their 2014 line up which consists of the Pixies, The Horrors, Pond, Temples, SBTRKT, Warpaint, and many more. Field Day will take place in the beautiful Victoria Park, London on Saturday 7th & Sunday 8th of June. When Apollo went last year it was a journey of musical discovery filled with new upcoming bands from all over the world, and to add on to the joy, the sun was shining.
This year there is no shortage of new and old talent. The great Boston band Pixies will be taking the main stage on Sunday, which is their only show in London whilst on tour. Also, Field Day veterans The Horrors will be returning this year to give attendees a taste of their new album, which is being released in March. What makes Field Day more exciting each and every year is all of new bands, which the festival is somewhat known for. Among the new bands playing at this year festival are Temples, Fat White Family, Teleman, Ghostpoet, and a whole lot more. Keep on checking back for more Field Day 2014 announcements.
In the meantime you can listen to Field Day Radio, which is hosted by the festival’s founder, Tom Baker.
